SCRIPTWRITERS & CO is a robust company, run by professional script consultants who have been writers all their working lives, and with its own, auditioned company of professional S&CO ACTORS.

We have thousands of subscribers, a vibrant Facebook presence, and have received, read and judged around 4,000 short script entries for our monthly competitions. Evidence of our commitment to excellence? The quality of work we select for our legendary online S&CO SCRATCH NIGHTS; the script notes we offer winners each month in front of up to 100 audience members; and the client feedback you'll find on this website, for script coverage and workshops.

Led by Zanna Cardash and Alex Hollister, our readers are fully trained and hired for eclectic tastes, excellent noses for a superb script and clear, objective judgement, whatever the genre or subject matter.  We're always knocked out by the high-quality pieces submitted to our Scratch Night competitions on Zoom and in our Festival, and by the overwhelming support we've had from established, emerging and new writers.

We're not the only ones who have been impressed by the high standard. We hope that FINAL DRAFT, producers of the industry's leading scriptwriting software, will once again sponsor our scriptwriting contest and the Festival awards ceremony taking place on 12 May 2024 at the RONDO THEATRE in Bath, UK. This being so, the winners and runners-up will receive a copy of FD13 as well as their trophy.

Additionally, JONATHAN WILLIS, the prolific film and theatre producer who heads up POSTERITY ENTERTAINMENT, will partner with us again by offering potential routes to production for selected scripts.
